Combining multiple visual sources, this drawing investigates themes of safety and vulnerability. A familiar landscape turns absurd as handrails splay uselessly outward, opening into an unknown abyss. Surrounding the river and shoreline, the rigid hardscape emphasizes the uneasy boundary between built environments and the deep unknown.
