Wood ear and shelf mushrooms breakdown dying trees and transform cellulose into compost, nutritious mulch material for our landscape This changeable, variable piece is named after the Hindu Goddess, Kali, the ultimate transformation agent.
The piece is made with abaca pulp fiber and the dye I use is from eucalyptus bark and mineral pigments. Each booklet is hand sewn and joined up.
