Part 2 of the Old Neighborhood, a nighttime view outside.
In the warehouse district, the night looked orange because of the filters on the street lamps. I lived on a dead end street next to a car scrap yard and across the street from a Gatorade bottling factory. By 5pm, the block had cleared out of people and except for the lone semi-truck rolling down, the only people around where the artists in this old factory, 8 of us in our cubicles of differing sizes and dimensions. I first lived in a square studio, and later moved to a long skinny studio with a bank of transom windows that extended from the front door to the back wall about 30 or 40 feet. Lots of windows, lots of light and thanks to the orange street lamps, never quite dark.
